This semester I learned a lot about various tools of Microsoft office, much of which I did not know before. I know feel I have mastery of Word, Excel and Power Point and can use these tools to help me in my later endeavors in the business world. I learned how to edit and beautify a word document and how to create a gorgeous slide show for any occasion on the fly, this semester has truly been enlightening and helpful.
My computer skills have defiantly come a far way, when I started the semester I was not even using any of Microsoft’s 2007 new tools, I was stuck in old school. However now I can work all of the new programs better than anyone in my family, that is beside my father who works with computers all day as his job. My computer skills and knowledge have defiantly grown and it will only help me down the road.
I felt the textbook was not bad however I really felt the lessons were well prepared and given over very well by the instructor. Therefore the book became only a secondary reference which was good, I do feel that there no need for each student to have one especially when such an understanding is given over by the instructor.
The thing that helped me the most was learning about Microsoft word 2007 I know feel I can really dominate any paper I write as I can add in all the fun tricks I have learned. Not only will this help me in my reaming school career, it will help me in the business world. I will not have to spend time learning the new tricks and what not’s since I already know them. Learning these things this year was and will be very helpful throughout my whole life.
This semester was very helpful and enlightening. The instructor was amazing and gave over such a grasp of the material like never before. I also felt the instructor really cared about me as he monitored my progress and communicated with me through personal emails. This only helped me do my best and it made me really feel a part of the class. This class was fantastic.

Case graders
Being that I am doing most of the case graders now, I will make one post for all of them I hope this is OK. The case graders really do help....except for excel 5 where I cant figure out what i got wrong! They made me apply the skills I learned in class and really enabled me to Master them. had i been keeping up all along I probably would have gotten 100's on the tests instead of 90's but better late then never. And now that I am caught up I will nail the final. One might call the case graders tedious and annoying and this might be Truth for some of them but for the most part they are not so bad. I really enjoyed doing them and finally finishing them!
This was a very enlightening semester and I learned alot, professor you are the man.
Ps- check back periodicayl as I hope to post interesting EMT stories I have encountered thus far in my career!
Respectfully submitted,
Marc Zharnest

My Name and Some Family Info (Test #1)
My name is Marc Aaron Zharnest, In Hebrew it is Moshe Aaron Zharnest.
I am named for my father’s father whom I never meet. Being that I am the oldest grandchild on my mother’s side and in the top 5 on my fathers it was a very happy occasion when I was born. Also being that my mothers parents were still alive and the two other boy grandchildren on my fathers side had already been named I was given my Grandfathers name. This was not only special to my father as I am his oldest son but I bear the name of the person who brought him into this world. My naming was also a special event for my grandmother whom had already seen three grandchildren (two of which were boys) and none of which had been named for her late husband. So I carry my name with pride.
My brother and sister which consist of my siblings also bear special names however other family members have also named their children the same names as my brother and sister. For example my brother who is the youngest in my family shares the name Shalom with my first cousin who is the oldest child of my mother’s sister (my aunt.) So I always like to carry myself on a different level being that I am the only one who bares my grandfather’s name. My family history is a story and a half but here is a brief insight. My father’s parents were born in America and lived here all along, way back in the day my great-great grandparents came over through Ellis Island from Russia but thankfully my fathers family was no affected by the Holocaust. My mother’s family on the other hand is a long rich history. Both my grandparents went through the Holocaust, My grandfather in Germany and eventually escaped to Spain but was in prison and camps throughout and lost most of his family. My grandmother survived it in Austria and when she came over to America with her family lost some siblings due to illness contracted on the boat over. This is only an insight as to the history of my family but needles to say I am happy to be here in America.
Currently I live in Fair Lawn, NJ and I have lived there all my life. After my parents got married they looked for a warm young community and of course cheap. Fair Lawn was that place. Recently as my friends and I grow up Fair Lawn is seeing a resurgence of young people. Being that I lived there my whole life I of course am biased towards it. It is your typical suburb, nice peaceful and everyone knows each other. But in reality it is a great place to live being the easy transit with the train located in town or the bus or the 20minute drive to the city. All in all I am very happy and thankful for my life, family and where I live.
